How it all began........

From my early teens I have been interested in Astrology but at that young age I had no mentor and only later, did an Aunt, from out of state, teach me how to use a "regular deck" of playing cards to give readings. I would then read for many friends and their families.

In my late twenties, I began to study Astrology and also learned more about "Psychometry" (holding a picture or object and giving readings relating to the person depicted or owning the object).

Just before I turned 30, I went "Public" doing readings at local Pubs and Restaurants. I started out doing Psychometry Readings, and worked four nights a week for several months. I was known as "Misty."

In late August of 1986, I made the newspapers with an article in the Detroit News magazine section. By the end of the same year, I was making predictions for the following year on our local CBS affiliate evening news. At that time, I realized that I was doing what I was put on this Earth to do…to help people in a positive way.

In April of 1987, "The Psychic Connection" was born in the form of a sole proprietorship. For the next few years, I coordinated large events called "Psychic and Holistic Health Fairs," and became an agent for other readers. I also assisted with many Charity Events. I became very active with local groups and organizations such as the Westland Chamber of Commerce, the Westland Jaycees, and the Business Professional Women until 1994.

As 1988 began, I was asked to write the horoscopes for Associated Newspapers. It was such a success, that I then started my own weekly column called "Ask Elizabeth", in which I was an astrological "Dear Abbey!" I wrote for the newspapers for approximately six years.

My debut on radio and TV started with my being one of a select few Readers who participated in a talk show called "Kelly & Company" on a local station. From there, I was invited on several radio shows throughout the United States and Canada, including Danny Bonaduce Show (Detroit), Dennis Fairchild's "Thank Your Lucky Stars" (Detroit), Marcello's Psychically Speaking (Detroit), Larry Glick Show (Boston), Kelly & Kline Show (San Francisco), Peter Gabriel Show (Youngstown, OH), Mark Raines Show (Eugene, OR), CBC's Jack Farr Show (Winnipeg, Manitoba), and many more. These are some of fondest memories as I was able to reach so many people and show them how my talents could be of positive "help" in their lives.

Throughout the following years I also coordinated corporate events and promoted bands as an entertainment agent. I was known as a "great networker" in the entertainment business.

1993 was a BIG year. I became pregnant with my precious daughter and was granted a Federal Trademark on "The Psychic Connection." I went on to work in Ohio at Psychic Events and met many other wonderful readers who became friends.

The year 1994 turned out to be a turning point in my life! My beautiful daughter was born in early April, three days later while I laid in a coma near death from complications attributed to my delivery. Through some unexplainable set of events my psychic abilities were mysteriously increased. I have always claimed that my trust in God's love for me, and her presence in the world, were the blessings that allowed me to survive and pass on my gift to you. Today my psychic talents are stronger than ever. This, together with the strong desire and calling to help people, is the reason for my miraculous recovery.

Although I have not coordinated Psychic Fairs since I had my daughter, to be able to devote more time to her, I still give phone readings, private consultations, home and corporate parties. Bookings also come to me through several talent agencies. In December of 1997, I became a member of "International Who's Who of Entrepreneurs."

After my trip back home from Brisbane, Queensland, Australia in August 1998, I was sick and very dizzy from jet lag after a 27 hour trip! Wouldn't you know the day after I got home, I received a call from the "Montel Show" to go to New York City, and be on the show the following day? I knew that if I would have gone on the show at that time, it would have been a mistake. I am looking forward to being asked again in the near future.

Now living in West Virginia, it is a new millennium, and I will still continue to help others as I have all over the world! Every experience that I have had in life, enables me to help another more.

Everyday I thank God for the gifts and abilities that he has given me. If I can help at least one person everyday…then this is what my gifts are supposed to be used for…
